ACCESS DETAILS

What time zone will the event be in?
All times listed on our website and in our marketing are Eastern Time. Once you log into the conference website, the session times will adjust automatically to the time zone of the device you’re using.

What platform is being used?
Ascensus will use EventMobi's Virtual Event Platform, which is optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.

What browsers and operating systems are recommended?

Will the mobile app have the same features as the desktop version of the website?
All features that are available on the desktop version of the conference website will also work on the mobile app.

If you're viewing the app on an older mobile device or have a slow internet connection, you may be redirected to a quick view that displays the essential agenda, and event date and time information. All devices will require internet connectivity for the initial download of the app. Once you have accessed the app, it will save itself to your browser and you will be able to access it offline.

Additional details on how and when to download the app will be sent to you the week of September 20, 2021.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

What is the cancellation policy?
You may cancel by clicking View or modify your registration in your registration confirmation email on or before September 15, 2021 for a full refund. After that time, no refund will be granted. However, substitutions are accepted at any time. The CIS II Exam is non-refundable after November 1, 2021.

How do I modify my registration?
Open the confirmation email you received after registering for the conference. Click the View or modify your registration link located above Registration Details. Enter the confirmation number from your registration confirmation email and follow the prompts.

What if I can’t find my registration confirmation email?
Visit the registration website here. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Already Registered” under the Register Now button. Click the link to have your confirmation number emailed to you again.

GENERAL CONFERENCE INFORMATION

Can I have my name excluded from the attendee list?
We can hide your name and profile in the attendee list. If you wish to have your contact information hidden, email education@ascensus.com no later than September 17.

NOTE: If you choose to participate in the conference game or message another participant directly, your profile information will be shared on the leaderboard or with those you privately message.

Do I need to register for individual sessions?
You are not required to register for sessions. Two weeks before the conference, you will receive details to access the website, where you can review the agenda and add sessions to your schedule. You can also add sessions or change your schedule at any time during the conference.

When can I build my schedule for the conference?
You will receive an email from education@ascensus.com the week of September 20 with details about how to log into the conference website and build your schedule.

Can I add the sessions to my calendar?
Yes. Once you’ve chosen the sessions you’d like to attend and added them to your schedule, click the profile image in the upper right-hand corner, choose Event Schedule, and then click the Export Calendar button.

Will conference materials be available for download prior to the event?
You can visit the conference website beginning the week of September 20 to download all conference materials.

Can I share my virtual conference login information with other members of my team?
For every paid registration, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, or phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual conference. Additional attendees can be added to your registration at a discount. Please contact education@ascensus.com with questions about adding attendees.

Do I have access to all of the sessions?
Yes! Your virtual conference registration includes access to all live and on-demand sessions. You may attend as many or as few sessions as you want until November 30, 2021.

How do I join a session?
The Join Now button will become available five minutes prior to the session start time.

Can I ask questions during live sessions?
We encourage you to ask questions at any time using the Ask a Question feature within each session. The instructor or moderator will answer as many questions as time permits.

Can I take notes in the conference website?
When logged into the conference website, click on any session listed in the Event Schedule. In the session, under the Join Now button, click on Add Your Notes. You can access your notes later within each session or export all your notes to your email address. You can access or edit your notes until November 30, 2021.

What happens if I miss one of the live events? When will the sessions be available on demand?
Please allow up to two hours after the end of the session for the video to be processed for on-demand playback. Registered attendees will receive on-demand access to sessions until November 30, 2021.

Can I save the conference presentations to my computer for future viewing?
You can download presentations to your computer to watch again later.

How long will I have access to the conference website?
All participants will have full access to the conference website and mobile app until November 30, 2021, which includes all presentation recordings, notes, handouts, surveys, and other tools.

Is a webcam required?
No, but we encourage use of a webcam or video device to improve your conference experience.

INTERACTING WITH OTHER ATTENDEES

How can I see the attendee list?
Within the conference website menu, click on Attendees. From there, you can send messages or schedule a meeting with another attendee.

How can I communicate with other attendees?
Methods of communication include session chat, direct messaging, and one-on-one meetings. Read more about one-on-one meetings in the Event Information page in the menu.

How do I schedule an appointment with an Ascensus Sales Representative?
Within the conference website menu, click on Attendees and search for and click on your Sales Representative’s name. Click on Schedule a Meeting and complete the information. Additional details on this feature are found in Event Information in the website menu.

How do I find my Ascensus Sales Representative?
View the Ascensus Sales Territory map located within the Event Information menu to determine who your representative is.

CERTIFICATION

Are there any certification opportunities at this conference?
Attending this event will help prepare you for the optional Certified IRA Specialist II (CIS II) exam. For additional CIS II information, visit our website at https://www2.ascensus.com/education-training/professional-development/cis-certification/

Are the sessions eligible for continuing education credits?
Yes. Please reference our Continuing Education chart for additional details.

Will this event satisfy the Certified IRA Specialist (CIS) recertification requirement?
Yes. Attendance at the Virtual Compliance & Legislative Summit will satisfy the current requirement to attend Ascend or IRA Institute during your three-year reporting period.

Does Ascensus track my CIS, CIP, or CHSP CE credits for attending this conference?
No. You will need to access your CE credit account at http://www.cetrackerlive.com/app/ to track the CE credits earned. We suggest entering your credits no later than December 31, 2021.

What if I can’t log into my CETracker account?
Please contact education@ascensus.com for assistance logging in. The forgot password feature is currently unavailable.
